Congratulations to Chaparral High School 12th-grader, Rebekah Solorzano, who has received the grand prize in an art contest celebrating the National Park Service’s 100th anniversary. There were 400 creative entries received from schools across the Las Vegas Valley. And, the competition encouraged all students to design an image incorporating both Southern Nevada’s park lands and the National Park Service’s Centennial theme of #EveryKidInAPark.
